That would ensure us an endless line of nothing but Bumblebee repaints. If you think it's bad now, with cases with one or two of most figures, and four Bumblebees, imagine cases with nothing but Bumblebee! A movie like this would be pretty much the last thing most collector would want. That said, it would probably be successful, and given Hasbro's obsession with BB, they'd love it.

I thought the current movies already are Bumblebee's own spin-off.

    No?

Bumblebee essentially WAS the star Transformer of all three films. Yeah, all the big fights were of Optimus Prime shooting shit up and ripping off all the faces he could find, but the big character interaction moments? Mostly Bumblebee throughout the films.

And I don't think you'll find him as NEARLY popular around here as you seem to think he is.

I'd go for the exact contrary route: KILL HIM OFF next movie and introduce a new family friendly character: Hot Shot, a wise-cracking young Scout who was BB's pal, sort of like Jazz.

We need some fresh blood to the kid-friendly dude.

What? On his own? Who wants to watch a 2 1/2 hour film where the main character doesn't speak? Also, as others have said, give some screentime to one of the other, lesser robot characters

Maybe not a full movie. A half an hour special maybe like on Cyber Missions.

    WALL-E says hi.

Well, he at least was ABLE to speak in short one-word sentinces, mostly just his name and the names of other things (other names of robots like EVA, Earth, etc.)

Which is still a helluva lot more than Bumblebee speaks without using the radio, to be honest.

'Bee doesn't need a spinoff - he's already one of the two robots to have the most screentime in these things anyway.

Personally, I think 'Bee needs to FINALLY FRIGGIN' TALK.

    Hell no.

It's bad enough he wastes screen time with his radio speech gimmick and shelfwarms at stores.

but a whoel movie about him and Sam wiggitywhack.....As Farnsworth would say. "I don't want to live on this planet anymore."

    I'm with you on this.
BB will remain in the film, but let's not give him so much credit next time around please. we all saw how nice Mirage was in the film.

Paramount/Hasbro can give another character a chance without still stealing so much exposure from BB.

Nah. Its a waste to base an entire feature film off one character in a universe rich with them.

A comic series, or even an epsiode or two of an animated series, or a direct to video short, that could work, but those have more or less been done already.
