Do you think PRID Powerizers Megatron fits in with classics figures?

    It's a stretch...but it could work.

If I were you, I'd go for the United voyager class Megatron. It'll cost you more than the PRiD Megatron, but it's about as close to G1 as you can expect to get right now.

I'd use the Generations Cybertron form Megatron if I did'nt have the classics.

It's got a similar robot scale as the starscream deluxe, Darkmount, and other things you would use like fansproject insecticons. Has Big tilting posable feet, and I like the streamlined cyber tank.

    This.

PRID Megatron is a poor fit imo.

I don't think I would call it a poor fit. It's a MAJOR stretch, but it is doable in my eyes.

But then I'm not much of a fan of the classics mold of either character; I currently use Alternity for Megatron and (P)RiD for Optimus

    United megatron all the way!

I haven't tried it (yet), but apparently it's pretty easy to mod the figure to remove the wings...

I was thinking of maybe modifying him to make look a little bit more boxy and then painting him up in the color scheme that he had in transformers: ongoing.

You can if you want but I wouldn't. I feel like you would be spending as much money on modifications as you would on a United Megs.

If you can, I'd say go with Hegemon instead of any of those choices.

Yeah, it's dead easy. I just got a pre-modded one from eBay and all the previous owner did was cut away at the hinges so the wings can be pulled off. Fairly soft plastic, too, so it works well.

Personally I would think. HELL NO! but its your collection and it can be what you want it to be and don't let anyone tell you different.

If that's what he thought, I don't think he would've created a thread asking for opinions.

My say is no. There's little to nothing evoking the G1 Megatron character in the Prime model or figure, except for the very basic of concepts.

As stated earlier, you can still find the United release somewhere on the secondary market. I prefer the Henkei myself, but that goes without saying.

Whether he fits in or not is all perspective and that varies from person to person. My opinion, he could but it would nag at me knowing he wasn't Classics. Now if we are talking about Cyberverse, Cyberverse Commander Prime Megatron actually looks good with other Classic and movie themed Legends/Legion/Commander figures.

I'm looking for a prefect megatron for my classics display also I don't really care for the united version and don't wanna spend a bunch on Hegemon so I'm up in the air but i don't think Prime megatron fits well. Best and most economic choice is probably WFC.
