    to reshell deluxe 09 camaro Bumblebee? Maybe getting an in-scale version of the classic camaro to have a more accurate robot mode?

    I'd say yes. None of the core body components are an actual part of the car (aside from one or two things), so it would just be a matter of getting everything where it needs to be.

    Roughly 1:34... I'd imagine a 1:32 model kit would get the job done.

    I don't think it would be possible for two reasons:

    A lot of the key components in the transformation and robot mode are integrated directly into the vehicle, making it very difficult.

    Also, the new Camaro is fatter, and taller in the front and back then the old one, so certain parts wouldn't mesh quite as well.
