I was looking over ROTFLOL Prime the other day, and was wondering... Can hasbro improve that? Nah, it's perfection right? But I'm interested to hear what people think. Personally, I think it is the best TF I own, and I own Masterpiece Megatron.

A few people thought the 07 was close to masterpiece quality when it first came out... then we got ROTF.

My wallet hopes for just a repaint or slight retool/tweaking.

No. If they do I won't buy it, cause the one I have is beyond perfect and I don't see them making a better one.

Even if they do I personally like this mold. If the pice goes to 40.00 than I might consider, but I plan on getting Buster Prime. So the chances of me getting one is very low.

    Of course they will.

Much as an improvement over the first movie's Prime the RotF mold was, I still think it is a bit of a shame it ended up made anyways (I mean didn't Hasbro say that was something they wouldn't be doing?). I can see it happening again.

Ohhh this question it's interesting; i think a TF3 rodimus prime... not another optimus.. this would be much more interesting; and all of you are right optimus ROTF is by far the most awesome transformers until.

Geez . . . that's so hard to answer. What can they fix about this guy? Seriously? The only thing I see Hasbro doing is adding the gun like the Busta version has done.

they might change some of it, but I imagine the ROTF mold will be mostly unchanged. maybe different weapons, maybe articulated hands, and any other mods the third movie calls for.

Totally expect a new BB and a new OP for TF3. Those two characters are their bread and butter. Those two Characters probably make more money then the rest combined.

It should come with a Trailer that can combine with Prime for a Super Fortress battle mode!

ROTF Prime is one of the best TFs out there.
I would love if they made another version that was as much an improvment over ROTF Prime as ROTF Prime was over TFTM Prime.

Of course they'll change/tweak it. Probably not by a lot, but enough to call it a new toy and get some more sales

Maybe they could ditch the voice gimmick on the leaders and focus on the transforming part more but that wont happen. that's about the only thing I DON'T like about this prime. His chest/midsection is Slightly bulky but it's still awesome.

Probably not unless Prime drastically changes his alt mode or something. It will probably be painted a little differently (maybe even get the premium paint treatment).

Yes! Optimus & Megatron will hog up 2 leader slots & characters that are more deserving of a leader class toy will end up being a shitty deluxe. As usual!

    as usual?

what figure that was released as a deluxe should have been released as a leader class instead?

I agree, on both counts. When pics of the mold first showed up, I was a bit annoyed; the fact the second could combine with Jetfire, along with how nice the mold looks, was enough for me to pick it up anyways and still hang on to my Premium Leader from the first film.

As for tweaking or making an entirely new mold...yes, I can see it. Bumblebee and Prime are the best sellers of the movie characters; if you're going to churn out new molds and/or repaints of any characters, I'd milk whatever I could from both.

Blackout, Starscream, Bonecrusher... you know what the answers will be.

Actually, I'd agree with them too, up to a point - but we know it's a question of what will sell, and Leader Prime and Megs will far outsell a Leader Blackout. And we are told we'll see this Leader Starscream, at least..

I'd rather they continued to get the toys to be more show accurate, than worry about size classes, overall. ROTF Leader Prime is far and away the best of a generally poor bunch, it actually looks something like the 3D model and has reasonable articulation; so even if that's the only toy they further improve - and they will - for TF3, that'll be just grand :)
