HELL NO TO EXCLUSIVE (Caps intended)

The TF Ride is only in 2 Universal Parks: Hollywood and Singapore. I can assure you I will NEVER be able to get to Universal Hollywood, let alone Singapore. If it were to be an exclusive, then Universal Orlando had better have it because I am more likely to go there then any other parks because I have a condo 2 hours away from Orlando.

But Evac should be made available everywhere. I know I want him for my movie collection, even if he never appeared in the films themselves. He carries the same movie design and thats enough for me.

    1. I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE YELLING ABOUT - YouTube

    2. No. There's no reason why that figure couldn't be a mass-release figure.

    3. Do you really think that with the cost of getting into Universal Studios to begin with, and the cost of rides, attractions, and food... that anyone is going to bother buying a Transformer toy that looks like it should just be at Target or Walmart anyway?

Not to mention that it would likely get marked-up significantly. $12 at Walmart or Target sounds better than $20-25 at Universal Studios having exhausting all the resources needed to get there in the first place.

    ... there's an ignore list?

    ... wondrous!

But no, I actually wholly agree. I think Evac should only be sold to those who are studious about the universe. It could improve grades, inspiring children to study harder. I'm not exactly positive how they could keep it exclusive to them, but it would be nice.

TFPRIME32 I THINK YOU SHOULD CALM DOWN AND LAY OFF THE CAPS LOCK.

JUST BECAUSE ITS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL DOESN'T MEAN IT MAKES YOU COOL TOO. YOUR USAGE OF CAPS IS VERY, VERY UNCOOL.

Just like how you want Evac to be an exclusive. What are you going to do with them, hoard them all at Universal Studios and demand we pay you ungodly amounts for them?

But really, I would be somewhat upset if it US didn't have its own exclusive redeco. I'd be more than happy to pay a markup to about $20 for a Deluxe, as it would be a special memory for me and a wonderful souvenir. Maybe I'm just nostalgia-prone, but I think it would be very nice, and would sell pretty well. Hell, it can stay on the shelves as long as the ride is open, unlike the mass-retail.

Maybe it should released at universal studious a week or two earlier, but definately, it has to be a mass retail figure. With such few Universal studious How would they even sell?!

I'm trying to rap my head around why ANYONE would want a Transformer figure to be exclusive to a certain store, especially one that's so limited? I'd much rather prefer he'd be released everywhere so all of us can obtain him.

This. Why the hell would anyone WANT something to be an exclusive? I understand if you want something already confirmed to be an exclusive to be at Wal-Mart, TRU, or Target, depending on what's near you, but this is just ridiculous. Also, it was already confirmed for mass release when the toy was announced.

No thanks. I like having something other than Bumblebee occupy space at Wal-Mart and Target.

Because not everyone wants to spend $200-$500 on a plane ride to California and $70 to go to an amusement park and get a $10 dollar toy. They'd rather get it at their local Walmart, TRU or Target. Sure, eBay's an option, but just think about how much it'll cost considered it's exclusivity.
EDIT: I'd understand cheaper Evacs at Universal Studios, but not something full price.

I'M PRETTY SURE IT'S GOING TO BE IN STORES ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER TRANSFORMERS. OTHERWISE IT WOULDN'T BE PROFITABLE TO SELL IT AT ONE PLACE (ESPECIALLY A THEME PARK).

Hasbro already confirmed at SDCC this year a version would be available at mass retail. The one at the ride will probably just be slightly different, unique packaging perhaps or something like that.

And guys, seriously, lay off responding to the guy in kind. That's as bad as anything the topic creator could have done, at the very least.

    :)

Anyway, on the thread topic. What the Hades am I reading here! Why are we not having positive transformers discussion here people?? Of course they are not going to make the entire mould an exclusive, that would be silly, but they could very well give an exclusive package and paint job to the figure for the ride store, it would accomplish what the OP wants.. I think.. unless he really wants 90% of the population to never have a chance of seeing this and 8 of the other 10% who manages to get one pay hundreds of dollars for it?

    I am not sure.
