No. Why the hell would it be that? Of course it seems right to sell it in a store like Walmart. It's a Transformer action figure.

Uh dude....maybe you should get your caps lock fixed.

Should Evac be a Universal exclusive?
Personally, I think the question is moot, since chances are that Evac is going to be an exclusive no matter what we think. And I'm okay with that, since it's not that often that I see ride vehicles turned into toys, not to mention that Evac is a pretty sweet looking figure.

Nope. I don't think so at all. Considering that Universal Studios is not a retailer that specializes or is known for selling action figures, it'd pretty much be Hasbro setting a figure up to not sell.

I think they should get an exclusive deco.

But it would be a waste of a mold to make it entirely exclusive.

But your riding the transformers ride aka evac!

For example would it make since if leadfoot:target sympols was a walmart exlusive??? Hell no man!!!! It makes a lot of since if it was a universal exlusive then a retail thing!!

Pooint being it will be lame and dumb if it was at all retail places!!! Cause after the ride you can buy the toy from the shop ( i hope there is a shop there) it will look better!

And let me guess you dont live close or near cali and thats why u want them to go to a retail instead!!!huhh????

    What's wrong with you?

And, no, it has nothing to do with "being near Cali", it's a matter of using logic when it comes to supply and demand.

Evac wouldn't seem right in a regular retail store? I assume you think this because he is a Universal Studios character in a ride. If we go by that logic then Target gets all the exclusive rights to Leadfoot because as a racecar sponsored by Target, he shouldn't be in a Wal-mart or a Toys R Us, because it wouldn't seem right. Well guess what? Legends class Leadfoot is in your Wal-Mart and your Toys R Us and your Target too, albeit with different colors.

    So here's my verdict:

NO, because it's Transformers and of course you can sell it at a retailer.
NO, because I'm not gonna waste an assload of money to go to a theme park I don't really care about.
NO, because I'm not gonna waste money on said theme park just to buy what seems to be like a good $10 toy.
and NO, because it's a dick move on Hasbro's part.

However, I'm not saying it absolutely can't be sold as a toy at Universal Studios. I'm just saying Universal Studios can't be the only vendor. That would be unprofitable.

Never, either make it for all stores or don't make it at all.

That figure is way too epic looking to become another slaggin exclusive.

As Kaiserlisk said, it would be unprofitable. An exclusive redeco? That I can see. You have to understand that developing a mold is quite expensive. To limit the retail options to one or two stores in the world... That's just not a very smart move from a business standpoint.

Oh, and a little something FYI. When you ask a question, you use a question mark, not an exclamation mark.

Get you settle down on, bro.

Also why would anyone want a figure to be less available?

We're apparently getting a normal mass release at some point, butt with a different deco.
EDIT: I thought the OP had gottten over making stupid/rage-y threads. Oh well.

I live in Cali, and don't think it should be a Universal Studios exclusive. You're missing your own point. HA Leadfoot with Target logo was a Target exclusive, but that doesn't mean they didn't sell HA Leadfoot in other stores with a different deco (simply minus the Target logo).

^ This makes the most sense. It would be a waste of money to use a mold just to sell at a single retail location. Plus, it's like free advertising for Hasbro/Transformers/Universal Studios to get Evac out to the general public, to help generate interest & awareness of a character at Universal Studios Transformers' thing. An exclusive redeco geared toward the Universal Studios park makes the most sense (an incentive to visit & buy it there), while still making the mold available for retail sale & more money. Win-win.

That wouldn't make sense. Thus, Target gets to have the exclusive deco for the molds, which in this case would be simply having the Target Bull's eye on the hood. But, the other retailers can still get the molds (sans the bull's eye) sooner or later because Hasbro likes making money. It's very rare for Hasbro to have a brand new mold exclusively available to just one retail store. Personally, I'd rather not see another Aveo Swerve kind of deal.
