I don't think he should have dialogue, no. From what we've seen, he seems to be a monstrous mindless behemoth of destruction; they don't tend to talk much.

I think that at most he should steal G1 toon Scorponok's one line:

    "AUTOBOTS....DIIIIIIIEEEEEE!"

no because technically he's a abomination frankenstein monster that is made up of 6/7 other robots so who is really his one brain/voice that speaks for them all?

Unless they are speaking all at once or they have a leader.

If you gonna give him a voice, have Michael Clarke Duncan with a computer altered voice to make him sound more mean.

Or have him voiced by the evil lich lord that rides the serpent dragon thing that kills the king in Return of the King.

Either that or have him voiced by Jason Mewes, Steve Buscemi, Jason Lee or the guy who plays Randall in Clerks.

"Should"? No, I don't think he should. If he does that'd be alright, but having him nonverbal is alright in my book.

I don't see him doing so, I would rather have a mindless leviathan of destruction.

I was originally hoping for movie Devastator to say the classic "Prepare for extermination!" line, but after seeing the designs I dont think he will/should have any lines outside of just roaring and growling.

I just want him to unleash some throat burning scream. Something that blows everybody away. Makes you go, OH MY GOD. Something akin to the Cloverfield monster.

I don't think something as big as ROTF Devs would suit a spoken part - I don't think there's a human being alive who could come close to sounding that big. If they do give him a voice, though, I think it should have Borg-like processing applied to make it sound like the group are speaking, rather than an individual.

He should say the G1 line "Nothing defeats the Devastator, nothing!" and then Skids and Mudflap defeat him.

I think that, if Devs speaks, it should be some creepy collective voice that draws from all seven Constructicon voice actors.

Absolutely. The more robot dialogue the better. God knows we'll have enough humans speaking.

No, I don't think he should talk.

He walks like a lumbering gorilla with an itch for destruction.

The individual components have their own minds and sparks, but their conjoined form is the culmination of all of their primal urges and thoughts embodied in a massive killing machine.

It need not speak, it's actions are far more louder than words, and truly their sword is mightier than the pen this time.

Devastator talking in G1 was cool because we didn't know to expect anything else. Now that we've seen robots in all kinds of forms, formats, etc. We know now that they don't have to speak, they just need to be awesome, kick ass, and take names.
