Do you tend to go overkill on toppings?

Maybe this is a pointless thread but I was just wondering if any of you tend to put too much of something in your food or beverage. For instance, when we have chocolate or strawberry syrup in the house, I usually always put a shit-ton in my milk. Or with hot dogs, I usually go overkill on the mustard. Chicken nuggets? I submerge them in plenty of BBQ sauce.

It's usually just regular old kill for me. The exception would be something like nachos, where the toppings are the entire point.

Ah, how could I forget about nachos. I'm surprised I'm not 700 pounds with all the cheese I eat.

No need to stop there if you can help it. Chives, olives, jalapeƱos, seasoned ground beef, black bean dip, cilantro, whatever you've got.

I don't really dig too much on condiments...

But everything else is really just the more the merrier.

I'm the kind of person who can only handle one or two toppings at a time. I can't palate most burgers and sandwiches for that reason.

A friend recently introduced me to a place that serves hamburgers with fried eggs and kimchi, hot dogs topped with bulgogi, and fries topped with cheese, bulgogi, kimchi, and cilantro. HOLY CRAP is that stuff good!

In my younger years I was a ketchup fiend. EVERYTHING was better with ketchup, nothing was safe. Since then I've tapered off on toppings/condiments.

I tend to go crazy with black pepper, hot sauce, and malt vinegar.

There's an optimal level for everything, though I'd be lying if I said I hadn't gone way overboard on occassion.

No, I use never to much. For me it's just right. Although my parents would probably say, that the main food seems to be the topping in relation to the real topping.

I am the WORST for Tacos. My tacos have a small layer of meat, then drowned in hot sauce, then topped with an inch of Sour Cream (almost to the top of the shell) Then top that with Lettuce. Crispy shell, spicy hot sauce, and a SHIT TON of Sour Cream to make you think "How is this man not 300+lbs!". Frankly, with how badly I eat, I am surprised as well.

EDIT: BTW, I do NOT put cheese on my Tacos. I absolutely LOVE cheese, but I hate it on Tacos... o_O

I rarely put toppings on my hot dog. I like it plain. With Tacos, I usually just have ground beef and cheese, nothing else.

The one thing I go way overboard on is mustard. Hebrew National dog + wheat bun + about a 1/4 cup of Plochman's Yellow Mustard = bliss.
