Only when it involves the never-ending Transformers vs. Monster High war in my house :lol

It usually entails a Seeker in alt-mode buzzing my daughter and her toys, but she's come out of the shower to discover a Decepticon menacing the dolls on her dresser... or an Autobot rolling in her doorway to say hello :lol

I remember doing something with my legend class figures.

I bought this Hotwheel set with "destructible" buildings, and I would have huge fights set up with a few buildings crumbled, and Hotwheels cars laying about around the field. :p

Nowadays, I control myself. I pose them, I transform them, I set one out on the desk to tinker with while pages load or while I'm listening to some tunes. And occasionally, when I have a camera available, I'll shoot some frames for a comic. But I don't play-play like get down on the floor roll them around and make them pretend that they're fighting and stuff. Not anymore. No, I stopped doing that around... early-mid 2010? I guess I was about 11 or 12 when I called it quits and decided that I really liked the idea of an actual collection. And the rest, is history.

I've been known to occaisonally engage my TF's in epic fights to the death. Though only when I'm extremely bored. Or doing homework.

Mmmm...I am more of a poser than a player with my Transformers :thumb  I will have my favorite ones out though to just transform or tinker with every now and then.

Not nearly as much as I did when I was younger, no. But we all have our moments of swooshing and making a couple figures fight with some idea of a story behind it.

I buy, I open, I convert to bot and I display. The closest I get to playign is fiddling and redisplaying.

^ This, but I only have one son. We usually play with his figures, but daddy has to do most of the transforming. Once and a while he'll ask me to bring one down off my shelf to play with, and I do as long as I'm there to supervise. I have to admit, he's really good with his toys. He might just make a decent collector yet...

I don't really pay with them on a larg scale. I transform them ever now and then and take pictures of them displayed but that's about it.

    Good topic.

Yes, I still play with my Transformers toys, but it's not the same as when i was little. I don't do the "pew pew" "Boom" stuff in the same way, nowadays I set up the toys, pose them, create dioramas and scenes, and then imagine the stories, plots, battles, etc. in my head. My 3 year old loves playing with my stuff, and although my heart skips a beat when he grabs one of my more expensive pieces, we have a lot of fun.

Had countless hours of good times with the TF toys back in the day, lot of great battles, flying around the room, etc. I remember that during my sophomore year of High School, I set up all my TF toys again - my favorite scenario, with Metroplex in one corner as Autobot City, and the Autobots desperately staving off a full scale Decepticon attack, the battle usually came down to Shockwave versus Optimus or Rodimus. When I set up the battle that day, I tried to re-enact everything, but it just wasn't the same. Peer pressure, high school, adolescence, etc. was all hitting home.

It took about another 10 years, when the reissues came out, before I tried it again, and found that I still loved playing with TF, even after all the years. So yes, I still play, and still have lots of fun, though these days I tend to pose and create scenes, more than actually enact actual battles.
