As a kid, I use to run around my room, having a big story that lasted for days and had my transformers fight.
And today.... I kind of just did that again. (With Bludgeon and Drift)
I haven't done it in years.... And I was super bored.
So my question to you is, do you still sometimes be a kid and play with your transformers?
TBH right now, I'm kind of embarrassed, I just did that...

No, they usually get transformed once and placed in the display. There are a few that hold a special place for me and I may transform more than once, but for the most part I think I have just turned into a horder-collector.....and I am running out of shelf space.

Why buy toys if they're not played with? You can just as easily collect pretty rocks. We've matured, so our play is not as much "smacking and shooting missiles at figures!" as it is "pose in ways they look like they're doing something, like Shockwave creepily lurking above swindle, or other actions."

I have been known to make car and plane noises and move them around the floor. Either that or pretending that they're staging an aerial assault on my girlfriend.

    Alright, I admit it.

I made Mindwipe and Skystalker Powerlinx yesterday. Like show accurate powerlinxing, with the flying in the air transforming and stuff.

Of course, its obvious that I was alone when I did this and now I'm feeling slightly awkward sharing it.

Nope. Although I still wish I had the fantasy and imagination to really play with the toys I collect (Transformers, Mask and Lego), I have become too self-conscious to be able to 'play' with them as I used to do when I was a kid. I have actually tried, but I'm too worried about breaking toys nowadays. Furthermore, I have no time: I have a wife, a job, pets and I have a Playstation 3... all stuff which didn't encumber me when i was young.

Still, I don't have any kids yet, but I'm pretty sure that when I do have them, I'll regain that imagination and fantasy and be the coolest dad on the block (with the biggest pile of toys as well!).

    Yes indeed!

First I make up a story to select the TFs that are comming out of the cabinet and on the desk. Then I fool around with them for days at a time.

For instance I had hothead steal onslaught's body like animated headmaster used to do. I am also now working on making shockwave an army of bots that also become his surrogates when he chooses like what happens in the game "Mass Effect 2".

I also play with my younger family members but I usually limit them to the cheaper figures like Armada, PCC, and KOs.

Bonecrusher and Prime were fighting a short time ago at my house.

Prior to that, Thunderwing was flying around in the collections room.

Many a Transformer has done donuts in alt mode as well.

The wifey thinks that the sound effects are "cute", too :)

Not really. But not exactly TF related but when I transform/combine some of my toys I sometimes hum the music that goes with it. But thats it.

Sometimes, but only when I'm planning parts of my photocomic so I can get a better idea of what a toy can do and not do and work around limitations.

No I don't. My "pew pew! Transform! che-chu-cher-chi." days are long behind me. But those were some fun times as a kid.

Well I dont go Pew Pew! Arrgh my Equilibrium! But I still play with them, I class playing as interacting with my toys to create enjoyment.

As I play with them characters emerge, for my example my Generations Hailstorm is normally in a hiding/cowardly pose don't ask me why, My Pinpoint PCC minicon has taken to riding other TFs, he is currently using Predacon Rampage as his steed. I enjoy spending time creating/recreating battle scenes, and changing the poses every few days as the battle continues.
