I agree with you completly. The title makes sense on what will happen in the film. The decpticons tend a full invasion of earth and the moon has a key part to play so yes the title is fine at times disjointed but it makes sense

 

You guys realize "dark of the moon" is when the moon light isnt able to be seen due to an obstruction ? Everyones saying it makes no sense, would sound better this or that way.. If the movie involved unicron or anything big enough to blot out the moon, and they use images like that to advertise the movie.. it will be very obvious what it means soon nuff.

 

The Dark side of the moon???? That sounds cool, but i think its been used before. I don't know for what though

 

I wonder if it means the movie will take place on the 6th of June.

 

I'll have to wait and see how relevant it is to the actual film, but judging on the few plot points that have been released, it makes sense in that context and I actually kind of like it. Although I keep trying to say "The dark side of the moon" instead of the "The Dark of the Moon".

Honestly until i saw the first minutes of ROTF. I didn't understand why the hell the Fallen wanted revenge for something we hadn't already seen before or even why? Hell I first assumed the Fallen meant Megatron and the Dead Decepticon rising up from the dead to get some revenge or something like that....That Pratically happened in the film anyways. How the DOTM will contribute mostly may me Unicron is either hiding behind the moon like a coward or he is the moon.

 

QFT. It sounds like it's missing a word. Besides, this might just be the working title. Until I hear otherwise, my answer is no, I don't like the title.

Well, the title's a bit less cliche than "Revenge of the Fall," but I still find it a little much. When Bay said the movie was going to be "darker" this is what he meant? Eh, could still be metaphorical like how "Dark of the Moon" represents the moon being Unicron and the darkness and evil that it threatens Earth with.

Oh wait, these are the films. Expect the filmverse set COMICS to me more intellectually engaging than a multi-million dollar movie.

I hate it. I'll deal with it, but I think it sounds stupid. That's cool that it's "plot relevant" and all, but it still sounds awkward and lame.

 

Don't like it. Seems akward and disjointed. Transformers: Dark Moon or Transformers: The Dark Moon would have been better. The Dark of the Moon just seems too long and doesn't flow at all.

On topic, since when has a movie title affected whether it was actually a good movie or not? I'm guessing never. They could call it "Transformers: Rat Tits on the Radio" and it wouldn't matter.

 

Eh, its... fine. I would've liked it better without the extra 'the' in front of 'Dark', or just 'Dark Moon' as someone mentioned, but i'll be calling it DOTM or just TF3 anyway, so its really not a big deal.
