Easy question. Supposedly it's the new title, so do you like it?

No. I do like the fanrage on either side, though. We're due for a fresh round.

    It's a lame title.

I can't believe that not liking a title of a movie that you will see any way is enough to outrage the fanboys.

it seems a very disjointed title that seems to have 2 names.

Now if you remove the word (the) from the title and renamed it

transformers dark of the moon - it sounds more flued

Atleast the name seems to be a more fitting title than ROTF - but transfomers 2 had a more flued title.

But the title has a key part to play what will happen in the plot of transformers 3, so it is hard to argue with the films title. If the only part of transformers 3 that is disjointed is the films name and the movie is good I will be happy.

From the spoilers we've heard of and "The Dark if the Moon" definition, I think it's fitting.

I know it's cheesy, but come on. We're talking about giant robots that turn into cars and fight in wars.

    you could care less.

If you can care less about something, that means that you do actually care about it. Just think about it, what you said is the EXACT opposite of what you meant.

I think you'll find what you meant to say is 'i couldn't care less'

if it's not possible for you to care any less, that therefore means that you don't care at all.

    Get it?

Every time I hear it I immediately think I've misread it or mispronounced a word. The words just don't sound right to me at all. It's not a bad title, I'm sure its relevant to the film, it just sounds bad.

I don't really like the name. I feel like anyone on production should be able to come up with something better than this...the name just doen't have a good ring to it in my opinion.

bit of an odd question too.. obviously it's completely relevant to the movie. they're hardly going to call it 'transformers: care bears have a picnic' are they?

It's not a bad name...I actually like it. Just wondering how it will fit with the movie (I know there have been some spoilers and whatnot, but wondering how it will all play out)?

Just doesn't sound right to me, even if it is an actual term.

1st: i don't really like the sound of it, plain & simple. but sure as hell doesn't mean i won't go see TF3 if 'The Dark of the Moon' is the sub-title, that's just stupid beyond all measure

2nd: if it works with what the official plot & what is in the official trailers when they are released to the public it might make a lot more sense then the way it actually sounds

3rd: maybe that is just for those prequel books only, but like others have stated already that's what people thought before when the same thing happened with ROTF & the ROTF title in the end was official when finally stated to the public

4th: maybe the real sub-title is along the same lines/completely different than 'The Dark of the Moon' & TDOTM is just a temp sub-title they are using on some stuff that shows up in events that take place before the events that actually happen in TF3

these 2 actually make more sense to use:

    "Transformers: Darkness Rising"

    "Transformers: Rising Darkness"

This title is so cheezy, it will fail the movie before it comes out!

Just watch, people will be making fun of the film before its release just because of its name. With such a not-well-thought-out title, I actually have a bad feeling about how thought out the film is.

That's advertisement. This time around, its been pretty sad.

Eh, don't really care for it. Just seems too long."revenge of the fallen" was short and sweet but this title sounds just a bit off. In all honestly though what I want is for the movie not-to-suck and thats it.
