Does anybody loving the wreckers?
I love proper grammar, but it remains to be seen about the Wreckers.
Fuck yes I do.
I even tried saying that without swearing. I couldn't.
Yes. They are awesome.
LOL. I think they will be a great addition to the Autobots.
I think they are going to be great. Can't wait to see them.
Quit beating me to the punch, Split Lip.
Yes I do.
I think the mullets, sunglasses, and beer guts add detail and give the character a personality.
I'm really liking Leadfoot's design, and going off of his bio, I'm liking his character so far. Not a big fan of the other two's designs though. I'm looking forward to their in-movie selves, but don't expect much, if any, characterization from them.
They're ok I won't judge them till I see the film.
I hope Leadfoot sounds like John Goodman and has a personality like that of Goodman's character in The Big Lebowski. So much potential for an epic win right there.
I'm really loving what I've read so far about these guys, and
apparently Topspin may have a british accent?
Fuck yes thats awesome.
Not a fan if the mullet to be honest.
Bay still fails to understand that he doesn't have to resort to obvious social stereotypes to make his alien characters relatable. Spielberg proved this with E.T., like, a million years ago.
That said, I am prepared to look past the silly aesthetics if the Wreckers turn out to be interesting, likable characters. I quite like their designs overall. It's just the heads that I'd tweak a bit.
Topspin's face is actually quite cool.
I love how they sound. They all have great design, and the fact that there are Autobots even crankier than Ironhide amuses me.
By the looks of it, I'm going to say yes. Not getting my hopes up, but just gonna wait till the movie comes out, then we'll see
i think leadfoot is by far my favorite i just love his robot and car forms and steeljaw is his launcher thats boss!!! i will definately be buying his human alliance figure
Honestly, stuff like that's been a staple to the transformers property since 1984.
I think this could have been avoided if they're alt modes weren't nascars. I mean some of the disguises in the bayverse are just silly (the wreckers, dotm megatron, optimus's paint job, sentinel prime).
Yes, and when taken to the extreme it can be a very bad thing. I'm fine with the concept of an alien robot imprinting on a social subset of humankind. That actually makes sense. I just don't like seeing these intelligent sentient robots reduced to pointless scene-stealing caricatures.
I don't mind the addition of the Wreckers. They are 3 new characters to be added to the Autobot forces.
I like how Dark of the Moon features more from the Transformers legacy, such as the sub-group Wreckers.
I do wish they were more iconic characters though. Not that any of the characters featured in the Transformers films weren't based of some Autobot or Decepticon from the series. But a few of them were named of characters who aren't as well known as others. That just may be my own opinion. I remember ROTF characters such as Arcee (as well as Elita and Chromia), Sideswipe, and the Constructicons from the G1 cartoon, but I'm not too familiar with Skids, Mudflap, or Jolt, who I know to be based off a Armada Minicon I believe.
It seems with the addition of the Wreckers to the Autobots, the Decepticons are also getting an elite attack force: the Dreads. My reasoning behind this is solely based on what background information I gathered from Hasbro's recent website update. Seems interesting that both teams, Wreckers and Dreads, have 3 members to them.
