    Of course I do.
But I don't put them in other departments, because the employees look for things like that because some people do it so they can come back and steal them. That's not my intent, and I don't want to be accused of doing so. So what I do to compensate for that is I place the item(s) I want behind the most unpopular thing I can I see within the toy department.

In WalMart, the wall of super-creepy-motion-sensor baby dolls makes an ideal hiding place. Simply wandering near your new sanctuary will cause people to cringe and flee in discomfort.

I have bought toys that were hidden by board memebers for me, like Universe Inferno, Animated Ironhide and Rodimus. I have hidden some toys for myself in the past and come back and got them after I had my bank account recharged.

I hid MP Grimlock once and let my geographical fellows know...they panned me and made me feel like a douche.
Can't recall hiding anything for myself.

Exactly. As long as I plan on coming back to get it for myself,or another collector,I don't see any big deal doing it.It's gonna sell no matter what.

I do that sometimes, but the times I've done it when I comeback to buy it they have plenty on the shelf. The last time I did that was MP Grimlock.

PCC Sledge behind a mountain of PCC Wave 1. Came back a week later and bought it. I don't do that often but when I do I try to hide it behind stuff thats been warming pegs for a while.

I have never done it myself- but my best friend did it twice for Star Wars figures.

he hid an Emperor Palpatine in the Bed and Bath department between towels until he got back with more cash.

I used to use Walmart's Lay-a-way all the time instead. That's how i got my Unicron. last one on the shelf and I had only $20 till payday.

really, there shouldn't be a need to do it in the 21rst Century. i learned to carry a credit card with a very low limit on it for sudden finds.
    it's a lifesaver.

I've done it once or twice; not for myself but for fellow local collectors.

Nope. I have found figures in those flaps above the shelves at TRU. If I feel like a dick, I'll take them and put them on the peg closest to the center.
