I've been self-diagnosed as having spouse-induced Aspergers. But it's cool, I only have it when I'm awake. The downside is it works over the phone too. Yep, bad stuff.

 

My brother and I went through a whole bunch of psychological evaluations when we were in school because of various issues and some behavioural issues. He does, I do not as far as I am aware. I do however have ADD so do I get some kind of strange second place for this? Or am I simply not cool enough to hang out the Aspergers?

 

According to the online test, I got a 34, so apparently I have Aspergers. I will now proceed to be even more of an ass and there's nothing anyone can say about it since I have an emotional disability or whatever. Mwa-ha-ha. Ha-ha. Ha.

Honestly, if I was going to be self-diagnosing myself with anything it would schizoid personality disorder since (a) I match more of the symptoms of that and (b) everyone on the damn internet doesn't claim to have it.

By the way, can anyone explain what Assburgers is? Every time I look up a medical definition, I come away with the impression it's a polite way for doctors to say "You're an anti-social dick with no sense of humour." Kinda like putting "NFN" on a patient's notes.

Are you and the mods going to do your best to look out for us users that are diagnosed with Asperger's, or are you all just going to make things rough on us by making fun of us and allow everyone to get away with being so negative about this serious disorder?

Utterly pointless posts and polls are a dime a dozen around this joint, that being said I find this post highly intriguing if a little biased towards actual people with this disability. By the by, since when does having Aspergers = Not wanting to improve in life? And also why is it that people with this disability NEED to improve their lives just because? I mean why should they conform to society when society is a confsing, conflicted mass of sociological disorders of the highest magnitude in this current high technology age? It is much easier to stick with what you know and who you know rather than making a change of lifestyle to please anonymous individuals on a message board.
