Woops I voted wrongly. I wanted to say that I actually like kibble because it hints at the robot mode's alt mode.

I have no idea what each option is trying to say, but my opinion is that I don't mind kibble, so long as it's not too obtrusive, since when I have multiple copies of a mold I transform the kibble differently for distinguishing purposes.

Kibble doesn't bug me much, in some cases to me at least it can add to the figure.

Kibble is a good thing if it doesn't obstruct. Sometimes kibble helps the asthetic of a figure.

To me it all depends on how the kibble is applied. If its applied neatly and adds to the robot aesthetic (like G1 Starscream's wings or Prime's shoulder smokestacks) then I am all for it! If it's a clunky annoying backpack that causes the figure to look awkward and fall backwards if you accidentally look at it the wrong way (HA Sideswipe), then no thanks.

I don't mind kibble at all, it's a necessary feature of a transformer. It's physically impossible for a transformer to have zero kibble. Everyone always complains how they want cartoon accurate TFs but the thing is that's kinda impossible due to a lot of them having disappearing kibble, like vanishing wheels and the likes. I think kibble adds to the character of each Transformer, it gives them a little charisma and attitude. It defines each transformer and sets them apart, without it they'd just be an ordinary robot and they'd all look alike.

So, no, I don't hate kibble. Shellformers are another story.

I love kibble when used right, sort of like seeker wings.

It only really bothers me when it pops off in the course of transforming the figure. Wings and wheels, especially, I think are actually really cool kibble.

my favorite kind of kibble is the kind that you can remove from the robot and build it's alt mode with.

    always cracks me up.

    No it's not.

really. we've had tons of transformers that have no kibble. armada has some, energon does, a lot of cybertron, almost all of animated.

of course, I'm not counting wheels as kibble, or wings that are integrated into alt mode. or things like ramjet's conehead. because they're all well integrated into the design of the robot.

    There's two kinds of kibble:
    1. Kibble that fleshes out a thin Figure.
    2.Kibble that just looks wrong.

Recond Ironhide is a perfect example of 1 because it fleshes out his back-end and makes him well rounded out.

some kibble is ok, others like the doors on the universe prowl mold, and the alt grimlock mold are just annoying for the fact of not being able to transform the figure properly

I honestly can't vote. Kibble can be bad, it can also be good. It all depends on how it's done. As long as it doesn't really get in the way of anything and looks like it belongs, it's all good.

I agree it helps show what the alt mode is, unless it hinders the figure it's fine.

The car doors on some G1 figures were there iconic look, especially the wings on Wheeljack.

QFT. Kibble is an integral part of TFs, and it usually doesn't bug me.

In my personal canon, kibble can be manipulated as armor or weaponry, so it's all good. :lol

It's the extra stuff that's needed for the TF to turn into their alt mode, but doesn't have a neat place to tuck away in bot mode.

..like all that crap on RoTF Voyager Meg's back. Same with Brawn.
