mm, i just wanted to make a thread to tell you guys if YOU HATE or like HA BEE, Boy, I REALLY HATE THIS FIGURE, what do you think of ha bee? EDIT: Do no complain of my opinion on bee if i hate him, i hate him, resepct my opinion and i will respect yours
I think he's EASILY the best version of movie Bumblebee we've had. Especially after doing the leg swap.
Why do you hate it? Recalling what I've read, and my personal experience with the figure, it seems to be the most universally appreciated representation of the character.
There's no option for: "He's ok." I didn't love the figure the first time I got it, but I didn't really hate it either. It was just kinda, "Yeah, this is cool." I kinda thought he was over hyped. After awhile though, the figure did really grow on me. I just picked up HA Barricade recently, and I thought I was going to love this guy, but his messed up hip articulation really kills the fun for me. I'm going to try and do that hip-mod I've heard about and see if that makes it any better. Because from the wast up, he's kinda awesome.
I'm not voting because he's far from the best figure ever. But I've got him and I like him. He's my favorite version of Bee, and frankly I think they should reissue him with two hands then put all Bumblebee releases on hiatus until TF3.
Where's the "He's cool" option? I like him, but he isn't a very good likeness of bumblebee. The proportions are off, but the extra weapons are great. Plus, those chest parts never, ever stay in place.
the hip bothered me too....but i took bout 10 seconds to do the mod. with a sanding grit attachment on my dremel...took no time im glad i did it too
I picked up Premium Bee last movie, and he'll do fine for me. I can't believe how many toys this character has. It's almost as though he's trying to catch up in number to every Prime & Convoy in TF history toy-wise.
i would like an HA 1970's bb - that would be ideal. Dont have HA bb and dont plan on getting him. Looking FWD to HA barricade though
HA Bee is the best version of the character so far. Cyber Ops Bee looks decent but kinda meh. The new deluxe Bee coming out looks almost as good as HA Bee, might even be slightly more accurate since he has the proper arms. But as far as movie Bumblebees go, I'd say HA is pretty much the best one so far. It's definitely not my favorite transformer, especially since I'm not too crazy about the movie stuff anymore. But it is still a pretty sweet figure.
Hey eag,you might want to change your opening line, instead of saying to make a thread to tell,its to ask,it implies your telling us what to hate or like.I personally don't listen to people who tell me what to do.So change that.Sorry but had to point that out. As for the topic,I love my HA Bee,like others have said he is the best bee we've gotten so far,but he may be challenged once battle ops bee comes out as best.
I think he's the best movie BB figure around and IMO 2nd best movie figure to ROTF Leader Prime. Why do you hate him so much?
I don't have him, and I don't care about getting him either. I won't buy him, but I'd give him due attention should he be given as a gift or some such thing. I like the Deluxe version(s) I have from the first movie, I'm satisfied. Besides, I don't really like the scale; sure he'll fit in with... err... alts? I'm sure he's cool, and I'd love to get a chance to goof around with one in person, but... I just don't have room for him.

I don't exactly "hate" him, but at the same time I wouldn't say that I like him. If I ever got him as a gift, I'd be ok with it, but he's not something I would by myself. The chest panels and head mold are the parts I do like about him, but the legs and arm kibble ruin the figure for me. I'll stick with my TF1 Premium BB figure for the time being. Oddly enough Jazz, who has a poor Deluxe class figure compared to Bumblebee, has the better Human Alliance figure, imo. Though Sideswipe is still the worst of the HA figures.
"Sucks ass" or "best figure ever?" Boy, not a lot of grey area in those options. I wouldn't say he's the best figure ever, but I really, really like him. As Draven said, he's definitely the best Movie BB. And I'd say, yeah, if I had to pare down my collection to only the cream of the crop, he would easily make the cut. He's a solid, well-designed toy, and pretty benign.... while there are some figures out there that justifiably inspire hatred, I have trouble understanding how this could be one of them. Plus, call me crazy, I really like having a little Sam figure. The movie cast doesn't feel complete without having him in there somewhere. Same reason I like having a Sari figure (albeit a flawed one) on my Animated shelf, and the tiny little Diaclone Witwickys on my G1 shelf. Now, HA Sideswipe, on the other hand.... THERE is a figure worthy of some serious hate. When a version of the same character half its size and half its cost manages to outdo it in almost every way, something is terribly wrong there.
