Do you hate it as much as i do to pay for an expensive figure that was worth it in your eyes, only to find it selling for half what you paid a week later ??

If it was worth it in my eyes when I paid out? Maybe a bit of initial annoyance, but not much beyond that.

I try to pay what it is worth to me...sure it can be disappointing to find it for less money later down the road, but that doen't make the figure less valuable to me or my collection.
I think it is just the nature of collecting stuff.

I usually do a bit of research before putting down the doe, never find myself in a situation where I bought something then find for half the price a week later.

Not gonna lie. I wouldn't say hate and I get over it, but it does bug me a little when I first find out. Not sure why, though, since I was willing to pay whatever I paid in the first place. Just some weird irrational form of jealousy/sense of entitlement/I dunno.

Key words bolded. If you thought it was worth it at the time, then surely it's all cool?

You can't go round living your life on 'what ifs' all the time. Besides, very expensive figures suddenly appearing at half price doesn't really happen every day.

    Sometimes.

But if I am in a good mood then I get over it easier.

Now, what about figures that you thought would be good, payed it, opened it up, was dissapointed with, and then found it on clearance a week later?

I bought Lockdown on clearance... heck of glad that I never payed full price for that thing.

Maybe I'm missing the point but I can't think of anyone who would be happy spending $100 on an item the could have for $50.

I dont hate it I just consider it a factor in supply and demand.

I own the black repaint of Galaxy force fang wolf its an awesome toy but then I seen it in a sales section at a local collectors store only a few months later I was kicking myself in some ways but I didn't feel ripped off

It really annoys me. Especially since I think speculation is fueling some of these price hikes.

Mmmm. It depends. Sometimes I don't mind paying a little more if my money is going to a good vendor, especially if it happens to be a small hole in the wall toy or collectible store. I'm good with that. To me that's good patronizing. But if it's like a big box store like TRU or Hellmart and there's a sudden price drop or hike that I was caught in then it would probably irritate me. It is what it is though.

I think what's been nail biting for me is my purchase of an AFA loose TF. I haven't seen this same grade, loose TF for sale, yet. So I don't really have anything to gauge it on other than semi-comparable items. I can't quite judge if it was too much, too little, or just right. I'm just waiting until another one pops up for sale so I can either be thankful or annoyed at myself. lol

As they say, a pat on the back is six inches from a kick in the ass. :D

I hate more when you buy something on eBay and the seller gives no feedback and doesn't send it for going on a week.
