Im pretty happy just with the music. I think lyrics would make it a little too cartoony. IMO the music is near perfect for this series.

I think every character should have their own theme song, and when a character enters, we should see their short theme song video! And there should be dancing. Lots of dancing.

Really though, I think the theme song should imbue a stronger sense of action. Something that gives me goosebumps while I fist punch the air, yelling "Yeeeeaaaaahhhhhhhh!"

 

Well, for that stuff, I think he's just ThatGuyWithTheGlasses/Doug Walker. And it would probably be at least a few years before he'd consider it a nostalgic show that could use some odd lyrics for its opening theme.

Call me old fashioned but songs are suppose to be written with words. Animated used words. Looking at the old G1 Rhino DVDs, I've seen people sing the original theme song at BotCon but they don't hum the wordless songs.

Nah, it's fine but some ominous chanting would be cool. But overall, I think it's fine, don't fix something that isn't broken.
