So a few of my friends were talking the other day and one of them made a remark that they felt that three of the stegasaurus transformers were inappropriate because of the shape and location of their weapon's trigger in their beast mode.

I didn't think it was inapropriate (Sorry my spelling stinks today). They were trying to go for a realistic look. What are your thoughts on this.

I think they should continue being sold for that precise reason. Come on, guy, gain a sense of humour - it's fucking hysterical.

No I don't think Striker is inappropriate for having a bit of kibble between his legs any more than Weaponiser Optmus Prime is for having a giant red kn*b between his legs (you can take that either way both are true).

A classic case of some people being too sensitive to these kind of things. :lol

Transformers has a long history of triggercrotches, going back to its earliest days.

Your friends seem to take a lot of umbrage with Transformer names and designs. Maybe you need better friends.

Just be thankful we never got a ROTF Devastator with Newtwon's Cradle action.

This. Take a look at G1 Megatron, Shockwave (even more blatant in the grey Radio Shack version), and Fort Max, to name but three.
