Recently, the Wal Marts over here in Canada had a Deluxe rollback...and I remember always seeing like, five Stalker Scropinocs...untouched. A part of me feels bad for them, I mean...at 10 bucks no one wants to buy them.

So, do you ever feel bad for toys that just clog up the shelves every time you visit the stores?

Yup, I do feel sorry for them. ROTF Legends Springer seems one of the worst in our country, warming the pegs since its release...

I also feel sorry that the 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime has been marked down at 70% off but are still warming the shelves.

When I was a kid, I really wanted an Optimus Minor! Now that I've wisened up I don't want it anymore, though.

On topic, I feel a bit sorry for all those Lugnuts lying there. They're good toys, undoubtedly, but I can't get around to the tiny size. Not to mention that despite shelfwarming they haven't gone down in price...

lol.....yes, I definitely do. I feel bad for tuner Mudflap every time I go to Walmart and he's the only one there. He can't help it if he's a little slow.... :)

I felt bad when I saw a bunch of Animated Grimlocks warming the shelves around here; you'd think a robotic T-Rex would be a pretty good seller compared to the rest of the Animated stuff, but he was one of the regulars stuck on the shelves with all the Animated Lugnuts and Bulkheads and Blackarachnias when Animated before the movie stuff showed up (and for awhile after).

Months later and the TRU here still has all of it's ultra class Universe 2.0 exclusives on the shelves.

And on a non-TF note; there's still a peg FULL of Star Wars Legacy Collection Yarna Dal'Gargans here. They still have their "First Day of Issue" stickers too (Sure, forget repackaging Revan and Malak with the rest of the cast; of course all fans want is the six-breasted dancer).

Walmart/Target/TRU should donate all shelfwarmers to Toys For Tots.

I'd see them far less as evil corporations if they did that.

I feel bad for Animated Lugnut, it's a great toy but an infamous shelf warmer, even now I can find the original version at the right stores.

But the one I felt bad enough to buy was Energon Alpha Q. I found him at Toys R Us during the later Cybertron series, maybe even into the Classics era, the box was beaten up, it was on clearance, and shoved to the back of the shelves. So it came home with me... and eventually got bashed on Plastic Addict, but STILL, I took pity on it.

All those Universe Countdowns and Darkwinds definitely make me a little depressed whenever I see them.

I do sometimes if it's a really great toy. This happens a lot with Universe, since many of the characters are obscure, and kids just don't want them.

Poor Ejectors. The general public just doesn't understand the novelty of a transforming toaster.

Rumor is Target donates theirs to nearby goodwill store. Not sure about WM or TRU.

TRU g1 reissues, Alts and Classics used to shelf warm at the stores near me, guess a lot has changed.

I thought Walmart/Target/TRU sells them to places like Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshalls at a little over cost.

My local TRU has several Animated Cybertron Mode Ratchets warming the pegs. They're all alone with no Arcees to keep them company. So sad :(

I think it depends on how much of something they have left over. If it's a just a few single pieces of something, they seem to end up at Goodwill. Stacks of the same stuff just seem to disappear way too fast to have been purchased normally, not sure where they end up.
