Do you collect any toys that other adults *don't* collect?

I mean, god forbid there be a line of toys that don't have ravenous adult males rushing through the toy aisles to buy. I think it's safe to say every action figure line has at least some adults buying them. I'd guess pretty much every car related line as well, including Tonka. What else is there?

There is nothing. If I had to guess, I'd say nobody collects teething rings, but I'm sure somebody does.

I collect lots of japanese toylines that I think have little fanbase outside of Asia. Like Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru, Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden, Braves, etc.

Around here, probably not, but I know of one or two that do. Can't stand the things myself, they barely look like anything and are just overpriced.

Many toys I collect aren't well known, at least not on these forums, but most certainly have adult collectors.

I collect PVC boots, and clothes. Not many people collect such things, especially if you can't even wear them... BUT i am a SG photographer, and shoot alot of "mature" theme sets with girls, so my collection comes in mighty handy.

i guess it's kind of like toys. real life dress up dolls.... kinda, lol

    Ebay:
i got 2 rescue heroes figures as gifts after my medic training. don't collect em, per se.

something i do collect- toy guns.
cheaper the better. I buy tootsie toy shotguns, older water pistols (the realistic ones before the kids were getting killed by adrenaline rushing cops) and nerf guns- they make great movie props for a decent price.
and at 1-3 dollars per can, spray painting them to look real is a cinch.

i would like to add that i would think that those pricey Valkyries and Mospeada would count as a toy not many people here collect.
as bad as i want some of em myself, i can't afford/justify the cost.

My girlfriend collects Pinky's, has almost ALL of them, which is a lot! Mind you, even with the convention exclusives, I dont think she's spent as much on the whole line as I did on my original Twincast

if I like the Mech design, I'll probably buy them...though, there are some things that I'd like to get rid of, like a majority of my Beast Wars/Beast Machines nowadays...

my collection is really downsizing, which is a good thing IMO

I'd say maybe NERF, but I've found out that there is a legitimate adult NERF community. Also the occasional yoyo. Though I'm not really collecting as I've already covered most of the basic designs.
