    Maybe, but make something different this time around, we already had Optimus going "JETWIING PRIIIME" on the movie-verse and in countless others franchise [Armada, for example].

    I'd like to see his trailer turning into a massive energy cannon.

    I say yes, but only as extra armor. Prime is already powerful; but if there needs to be power-ups I say Introduce new characters that can transform into Upgrades. For example give Powerglide a third Jetpack mode, and Warpath a Big Gun mode. Basically by making the Upgrades into characters it creates a sense of suspense, because the upgrades aren't expendable or always compatible, and they can't always drop what they are doing to power-linx

    As much as I would like to see ol Powerpants Prime back in action, I dont think it makes much sense in this continuity.

    There are a bunch of hybrid refrences to G1, Animated and the Movieverse...

    I would be fine with a weapons trailer / Roller...

    Save the powerlink for the Constructicons. Stunticons. etc...

    He's already had his trailer but if said trailer would contain his "tools & weapons" a la DOTM I could see this as an impressive upgrade for Optimus, especially when he and Megatron finally battle it out!! :bay

    I always loved it when Optimus combined with his trailer in Armada, that was badass. Cept his trailer doesnt seem all that important in TFP, its only used to transport stuff.

    If they do, I hope they do something more like RID in where the trailer parts forms into armor.
