It's okay. But it is by far my least favorite of the three.

I give it a 5. I rank both RotF and DotM higher.

 

Meh, it's okay.
One the plus side it has a few good scenes, such as Barricades interrogation of Sam, the Autobots arrival to Earth, the intro with Blackout, and StarScream battling the jets.
The musical score is amazing, especially Scorponox battle, and arrival to Earth.
Some of the characters are okay. And of course the special effects are of course amazing.

On the down side most of the Transformers lack personality, and or character development. Especially the Decepticons; which are mostly have the personalities of generic movie monsters.
Jazz getting killed, and having the Decepticons so easily killed was just pitiful.
Too many annoying, and forgettable human characters.
And having Megatron, I mean the robotic Swamp Thing just show up at the end of the movie, rampage throughout the city, and die, was terrible service to Megatron.
Over all, yea it was an okay movie, just not a great Transformers. It counts as barely passable.

Edit: since this a poll now, I gave it a 6. It beats out TF Energon any day of the week.

 

It's my favorite of the trilogy, but that's more to do with how bad RotF and DotM are, tbh. It's a decent movie that I can watch all the way through. It's definitely better than Napoleon Dynamite. That said it doesn't hold a candle to most other movies I've watched.

I certainly had more fun with it than the other two. I left the theater so stocked and giddy.

It was fun, and I guess I respect it for that, if I'm gonna waste 2 times in a dark room watching something, it HAS to be fun. It's what the industry is about.

 

It's fine. In a few ways it's better than the other two movies.

 

I thought it was alright. Definitely on the positive side of alright, but not close enough to rival some of my favorite movies or even how good I like to pretend the G1 movie was.

More importantly though, I credit the movie (rightfully so) with helping to give a big push to the franchise itself, which in turn resulted in a LOT more toys & fiction that we've seen & will continue to see for years ahead. Plus, I like the designs quite a bit, so even the stuff that's directly related to the films tends to peak my interest.


Also, I just realized that my post count is about to be...

 

Did many things better than its sequels. It was a very good first movie. I can't compare the 3 because they're all so different.

I was holding myself back from saying that, but since you have, I will cosign.

 

9/10. I love the '07 film, and it's still undefeated.

 

I can give it a 9/10...it would get a 10 if they hadn't taken a hour to get to the Autobot Arrival.  
It was a fairly good story....with the right amount of comic and dramatic touches.

 

I give it a 2. When it isn't painful for me to watch(when the supposed "transformers" are on screen snarling, growling, or pissing), it bores me to death(when the "transformers" are in the background or not even there, ie: the bland human scenes).
