Do they only sell transformer stuff in the dealer room?

I am a collector of many things, Star Wars, GI Joe, Transformers, Zoids, anything Hasbro. Do any of the large internet stores that show up at Botcon sell other things than Transformers? They do it at Comic-Con and the Star Wars Celebration, but was unsure about Botcon. Do they sell anything robot-like other than Takara and Transformers, like the dreaded Gobots? I can make my short list longer if the possibility is open out there.

Yes, dealers do sell other stuff at Botcon (usually robot/mecha related, but not always)

I believe they are discouraged from selling a majority of non-TF merchandise, however.

Gobots are awesome, I wouldn't mind picking up a few. Joes are good too. I'm sure the vast majority of the good (and not-so-good) TF stuff will be scalper-priced anyway.

GI Joe stuff seems to be okay though; I was sorely tempted by a MISB Rattler last year.

There is non-Transformers stuff available there, but not very much. I'd say it's probably at least 80% Transformers.

Everyone keeps talking about stuff being scalper priced, but that's not been my experience. It's not flea market, yard sale prices, but it's ususally fair market prices. Remember, they have a lot of competetion in there.

FP's booth was selling the last year or so of the GIJoe con exclusive items. Outside of a few items here and there, no...you'll probably won't see a lot outside of TFs.

The Botcon dealer registration form states that at least 50% of your merchandise must be TF related.

Do you even know what "scalping" means? It does not mean "overpriced".

    You can't "scalp" vintage toys.

And for the record, most Transformers at Botcon are pretty much at fair market price with PLENTY of bargains to be found.

I think I'm leaving the Joes at home. As much as I'd like to move some, I can't see dedicating booth space to them.

I will have a small selection of other Bots, though - Gobots, MMPR, Voltron, ExoSquad, DinoZaurs.... Maybe a Deluxe Big Guy & Rusty....
