I get woken up this morning, not by the soothing music from my alarm clock, but by the annoying ringing of my phone (one hour before I needed to be up). Being incoherent in the morning, I of course let it go to voice mail. The caller left only a hang-up... obviously a wrong number. Alas, I could not get back to sleep. Normally, I let things like this go... as I am a grown adult and it was an innocent mistake. BUT, seeing as this is how I started my day, I am a little cranky from waking up earlier than I needed to. I know wrong numbers happen, but when you are phoning someone early in the morning, I think it is your responsibility to dial the number correctly. Here is my dilemma... Do I do the grown up thing and let it go...OR do I do the immature thing and wait until the middle of the night and call the number back and ask what they were phoning for. So far, my wife and I are leaning towards option number 2.
