Sorry if asked before , but where do tf's go when they want to unwind for the day?

They surely eat food since they have teeth, am guessing they shower , watch some tv & go to bed as well?

I don't think they have a conventional home, even though G1 portrayed them as robotic humans that can eat energon.

I think they have cities and bases that can transform into robots (Metroplex, Trypticon), but they'd probably serve as a barracks rather than an actual home. They don't need too much.

 

Seeing as you brought up the G1 cartoon, Mirrage Once told hound that if they ever got back to cybertron he wanted hound to create him a big holographic home with a 4 car garage

Other examples of having their own "spaces" is Beast Wars, where at least Cheetor had his version of a teen's bedroom.

In idw they have homes. Before that I always imagined them to be up and running all the time and always being busy. And if not they could be standing around doing stuff in their mind. I mean they expect Metroplex to do that most of the time, when he's in city mode.

I also pictured them not having possessions as they were warring for millions of years.

But then again, maybe the cartoon back then didn't show them having homes or going to hibernate mode as it's not interesting. I mean we also don't see people in movies lock their cars when they leave it or go to the toilet and yet we do that.

That was a quote from Wheeljack from the three parter 'The Ultimate Doom'. So I kind of got the vibe that he did actually live in his workshop.

I would bet seeing the Dinobots living in Cybertronian huts at the mostly wild areas of Cybertron.

 

Maybe they live in Robot apartments like in Futurama.

 

Wheelie lives in an Ironhide down by the Metroplex.

I'd imagine pre-war G1 had industrial complexes with condo-style living quarters.

By BW they were small enough that each one had distinct quarters. Dinobot decorated the wall with the pelt of his clone, Cheetor had a roost, Primal had a barcalounger, Rattrap had a nest (with a ton of spare waspinator parts), Tarantulas even had several lairs.

So yes, I think its fair to say that if they're not constantly on the move, they tend to settle in their unique living space. What sucks is when you change body so much that you don't even fit in your living room any more, I'm looking at YOU, optimal optimus.
