my son does and that's all that matters to me, i think the decepticons almost all have strange accents is silly but besides that for a kids show it's better than anything recent that's not transformers prime.

As far as 86 being overrated. I agree and dont agree. As someone in their 30s, I remember all those 80s cartoons fondly... then I go to rewatch them and I have such a hard a time bc they're awful and just 22 minute long commercials to sell toys. Feelsbadman

Season 1 & 2 were average nothing special , the starscream arc was amazing but season 3 was an abomination

    Which translates to
    6/71 episodes being good ,
    39/71 episodes being meh &
    26/71 being absolute sh*t

So no I don't like it

If I had to give my ranking of the shows & movies I've seen it would go like this

    #1 beast wars
    #2 86 movie
    #3 g1
    #4 beast machines
    #5 animated
    #6 prime
    #7 power of the primes
    #8 combiner wars
    #9 cyber missions
    #10 titans return
    #11 zone
    #12 rid2015

I heard a lot of stuff about how garbage the series was before watching it, so I had low expectations walking in, but honestly I liked it.
I mean it's kind of a let-down of a continuation when they keep trying to pretend the Aligned Continuity actually exists, being quite a step down from Prime, but it's really easy to view standalone thankfully.
It's not exactly some great story, but it's kind of a fun, mostly episodic trip, with a pretty fun toyline to boot. I don't know if I'd seriously sit down to rewatch it, maybe put it on for background noise again. Not sure how I feel about it when it tries to have a plot though. Usually I'd be all for some sort of plot, but this series felt the most enjoyable when it came across as a bunch of loser cops hunting down petty crooks and making it seem more bigger than it was.

I chose meh whatever. It's not something I actively seek out, but don't mind having on in the background.

Yeah, I'd put it in the category of something I enjoy. I wouldn't say I love it, but I had fun watching it. The first season especially was enjoyable.

I like RID, but mostly it felt too...well, adventure-of-the-week, which is honestly fine. It's just not what I was looking for post-Prime, that being said I still feel it's a fun show and does exactly what it sets out to do.
The variety of designs is something I still love to this day.

RID2015 imo felt like Transformers Prime 2 : Electric Boogaloo and/or Bionicles 2016. It had no point for me to watch, the character designs didn't look good, and the story just made no sense.

Yea, I liked it. Granted, never saw the show but I liked the deluxe/warrior class figures. They were quirky and cool.

The warrior class figs were fun. Always tempted to pull them out again.
RID Drift & Megatron are excellent. Combiner force Windblade is alot more fun than Generations WB and even better with the Prime-like mouthplate.
    Fixit's also pretty cool.

The show kept humans at a low number and usually based each ep around the TFs instead, which is always nice, especially in the Bay era.

I enjoyed the middle and ending of it. I'm not a fan of bot of the week stuff.
