So do other collectors live in your area. I aam not aware if anyone lives near I do (Princeton Nj), but my hunts for new toys r usually quite easy, as toys popular to the fandom r usually not too hard to find, such as ratchet and arcee. I hope this will mean vehicon and knockout will be easy to find. :)

Well New York is probably full of them and I have (awkwardly) met a collector back when I went to TRU.

I just moved here recently and going by the Sightings thread, I'd say yes. The folks there tend to help out with tips and sightings so that's always helpful. Doesn't mean I'll always score the next hot figure but it does make it a little easier. There is a small club that has monthly get-togethers in the city here too and I admit I'm curious about attending one eventually.

Ya the only downside to living far from my fellow collectors is I don't get much help from sightings. Obviously since I can't drive yet I can't go to far for figures.

I know of at least three TF collectors in nearby buildings where I work. I'm not aware of any nearby in the area where I live, but I do hear the kids in the neighborhood talking about TF once in a while. One time I head a boy bragging to his friend that his parents are taking him to the mall to buy a huge Megatron, hehe. )

Don't know. Ran into one at TRU. Basically the only one I know of.

I guess one can figure out the amount of collectors in their area by checking the sightings in their state.

Judging by how quickly figures seem to disappear from stores sometimes.... yes.
