    I actually tried his method and got great results, thought I don't consider myself a professional.

    Yeah, I tried that method too, but my paint ran too much to look good. Maybe I was just doing it wrong.

    Could be, just keep at it and you will eventually get it right. I've done a few primes before and my result were not pretty... Like they say, practice makes perfect. I think my pinstripes came out great this time around. Here is a quick example of where I was a while back, then I took a break from customizing, then got back to it.

    wow, those flames look amazing on your model kit..

    I was just about to answer but yeah, F-R method is great... I didn't do this prime because I have ben having some issues where I can't hold the brush steady enough... I guess I need to drink a little more before I try to pinstripe... I would rather have no stripes than bad looking one.
