Yeah, I tried that method too, but my paint ran too much to look good. Maybe I was just doing it wrong.
Could be, just keep at it and you will eventually get it right. I've done a few primes before and my result were not pretty... Like they say, practice makes perfect. I think my pinstripes came out great this time around. Here is a quick example of where I was a while back, then I took a break from customizing, then got back to it. By the way, my phone takes horrible pictures. lol
Thanks for the love everyone... wow, those flames look amazing on your model kit.. I was just about to answer but yeah, F-R method is great... I didn't do this prime because I have ben having some issues where I can't hold the brush steady enough... I guess I need to drink a little more before I try to pinstripe... I would rather have no stripes than bad looking one.
