Didn't realize the DLC came out today, er yesterday, had to make a quick trip to Wal-Mart for an XBL point card.

As for the Double XP weekend, can't wait to actually try out MP with the advantage of getting 2x experience. If I can even kill anyone.

 

Going later to get an Xbox point card.THen i will probably be on Escalation for ages.

Looks like I won't be able to join in on the (DLC) fun. PSN has been restructured since I last used it. In the past, I was able to use my credit card (billing address, Japan) with no problems, but it won't let me now. I have one still tied to my American address, but it will not let me use that one either.

I'm not sure what the problem is as I've downloaded free content (PSN freebies and pre-order goodies without fail), but for some reason, I cannot add money to my wallet to make the purchase  

 

Question for everyone . for someone who doesn't really play wfc that much , although i will more. is the dlc all that worth it ? or would i be better off spending my 17 pound or so on a figure instead. feel free to pm me with replys .

 

I got it yesterday and installed, but I haven't gotten a chance to try it (was watching Batman, heheh). I'm like you. I don't play it as often as I would really like.

 

I had that exact same problem myself. I was trying to put in a new credit card but it wouldn't let me. The previous credit card I used might have been tied to my previous address since I moved around the time I got my PS3 but I'm pretty sure it wasn't.

I ended up just getting a PSN card from Best Buy

 

I would say not worth it if you do not play very much.


Wait for a 50% off sale in a few months.

 

I've had about three matches on the new Decepticon Escalation map playing as Soundwave and his voice is suddenly that of a generic Decepticon rather than his own vocoder voice.

Anyone else getting this problem?

 

When playing multiplayer today my friends either did a private match or joined a public match with the new maps. Either way I got kicked out of the match saying "Error you don't own these maps"

Great now I have to get it this weekend. Only positives I can see are playing as Demolisher, the escalation maps and.... that's it.

Also, I think the two new MP maps are amazing. Not a huge Escalation fan yet, but the characters and maps are just the bee's knees.

 

Indeed. Fortress is pretty damn slick. But I'm disappointed to hear that these maps getting used is entirely dependent on everyone in the game having them.

And I, for one, am really stoked to *finally* have someone other than Soundwave for Con Leader and Warpath for Autobot Soldier use. Jazz and Shockwave are pretty cool too. And Demolisher is just sick.

 

hate that i'm away this weekend. I want to finish levelling up! DLC is awesome if only for onslaught. he's soooo awesome!

 

I got a reply from PS Network addressing the issue. Due to regional issues (I guess this started with the cross media bar changed to reflect the new design) US PSN members residing outside the US can no longer use credit cards to add fund to their wallets--having your card to a US address no longer matters--the only way to add funds is with a PSN card, apparently. PSN's trouble shooting page says otherwise, though the e-mail I received told me I need a card.

Now I have to get my hands on an American PSN card in Japan  This had better work

Sweeeet. I didn't get to take much advantage of the first weekend.

 

I'm so sad, it's not even double exp weekend yet and I've only got one class left to level from 23 to 25... At this rate it won't even matter. XD

 

Refresh my memory where this was announced? I ask because I haven't seen anything about this other than this thread.

 

Xbox has a thing on their dashboard, not sure about anywhere else.

 

Funny thing because I see no mention of it in the news ticker up top. Only about new DLC and feedback.
