I smell easy potential exclusive TFCC/Botcon exclusive repaint.
Either that, or Derrick's just doing up character models just for fun.
Which is entirely possible. As I doubt he'd post anything Botcon-related without prior approval given that work is under contract.
Also, the Chromia there is based off the Sega arcade card design for Chromia.
Probably right. I was mainly commenting that Chromia has no apparent difference from Arcee other than color, and is therefore easily toy-ified.
When I first saw the link for "Chromia", I was curious what DJW did, given the various other source material connected to that name (G1, Movie, Botcon'05, or Galaxy Force, for four)
but a straight Arcee recolor is ... nice too.
What mold could be made into Stampy? Kinda looks like the Beachcomber character, but he never had a toy.
Stampy! Just in time for Easter!
Arcee looks great in those colors
Stampy's based on Rattletrap which was an Animated version of the Botcon toy from 2006 of Rattrap in his Cybertronian form. That toy was a repaint of Cyberton Ransack.
Problem is, that toy doesn't really fit Animated though. So little chance of it beeing a Botcon toy.
Actually, I think the body would be fine with those huge shoulder pads, it just depends if they could fit an Animated head into that figure.
Chromia looks great. That makes me want to make a custom like that.
And next week ko toys will announce their chromia figure
Damn, got my hopes up for an all new mold per-say for Chromia.
Looks good either way.
man derrick come on, at least give her a new head.
i like it, unusual to have the same head as Arcee unless it's a botcon exclusive though.
stampy with no crotch post? how disappointing!
Sega already made a playing card with a digibash of Chromia. I think the pink face stands out more.
Chromia = meh
Actually, they will be showing it. It's going to be made after the Arcee KO. already in the pipes.
Very clever design choice, basing Stampy off Rattletrap. It makes a great sort of sense, since the Stampy toy's head looks a lot like the Cybertron Ransack head on which Botcon Rattrap (and hence Rattletrap) were based. Plus of course both characters' original incarnations had small, furry, rodent-like (I won't make the mistake of calling rabbits rodents here) alt modes. That is some mildy brilliant circular logic at work!
Separate names with a comma.
