That go tme thinking about I site I know about, showing people how to make their own Mythos props: Tomes, Alien Stautes, bottled deep ones , along with plenty of photos and ideas for you to work off of any, Here you go.
I thought the whole point of Lovecraft is that the monsters were so horrible, that you cannot look at them without going insane. So ANY images of lovecraft...to me...are lame..

It's a site about making props for Mythos based games and the like, not making images of the things themselves. And no, not all of lovecraft's creations were insta-mind blasting horrors. Even in the original stories, people have looked upon the visage of Old Ones and stayed sane.
