    I want to see this with my friend Zak. It looks damn awesome. The Poleepkwa's (alien race's name) mechs are frikkin' sweet.

    Going to see D9 this weekend. Can't go wrong when Peter Jackson is producing. BTW, PJ looks like a totally different person from all the weight he's lost.

    I sure hope the film still retains the documentary (er, Mockumentary) style that was shown in some of the first trailers. If so I think this will end up the best film of the summer

    ok, the whole "this will beat transformers"... slogans through out this whole year are just getting old.


    But yes, District 9 looks good and I plan on watching it this weekend.

    D'no about it. Seems very 'Alien Nation', 'V' to me. I'd rather hang for DVD, but we'll see.

    I think I've gone from being pretty interested to rather quite excited about this. Very good reviews so far too, insofar as that matters (NOT AT ALL EVER for some).

    Isn't it kind of sad that this film, with a budget of $30 million, has better CGI than GI Joe, which had $175 million(?)?
