Pixar doesnt make bad movies, although they sometimes make 'Just OK' movies. This one, though, looks awesome and I cant wait for it.

I love Pixar, and have yet to dislike any of their movies, but this just looks "meh" to me.

This looks great. I really love the shopping carts at the end.

Pixar's movies look more and more real each time.

I'm not going to see it in theatres, not because I don't like it, just because I don't go to theatres unless it's Transformers or Ironman. However, I will rent this the second it comes out.

Where is everyone getting "A.I."?!?! It's "E.T."... in fact, right now it's *TOO* much E.T., feels more like a straight ripoff (the character, not the plot) than any kind of homage. I'll definitely check it out, though, and hopefully Wall-E can distinguish himself as his own character and not an E.T. wannabe.

    Last I checked, E.T. wasn't a robot...

No, but he does look like a robot version of E.T., and while I know nothing of the story, maybe it's similiar to the whole "outsider, stranded on Earth" plot...

Wall-E's not an alien robot, he's an Earth made robot, on Earth, cleaning it. That's his thing. From the looks of things, there are no aliens in this movie, even the white robot looks to be Human-made. (Judging by the assembly line shot)

I Don't really see how he looks like E.T., well, maybe the little arms make it. E.T. wasn't square, though. At first glance, the head mlooks similar, but then when you remember what E.T.'s head was shaped like compared to Wall-E's, the resemblance fades fast.

the story goes that Wall-E was part of a fleet of thousands of robots cleaning the Earth, which had to be abandoned due to insurmountable amounts of trash. something happens and he's the last one active, still working. the white robot is a probe sent to Earth to check how things are going. humans built both robots, but i don't believe they play too big a role in the movie. the makers said it's more of a love story than a sci-fi pic.

I cannot WAIT for this. I'm as excited for WALL-E as I am for Dark Knight, IJ4, and Iron Man.

    Pixar can do no wrong.
