Hmmm... I don't really know... It might just be a coincidence, or not.

Botcon at Disney world is a coincidence. With the economy the way it is, Disney and other major resorts are hurting for business, especially conventions. This gave FP the perfect opportunity to host Botcon as a prestigious location that is sure to bring a ton of people interested people into the resort/parks and help Botcon grow even more. The walk in lines at last year's botcon in Pasadena were insane, I hate to think what they'll be at Disney World.

As for Disney label TFs at US retail, highly doubtful. Hasbro and Disney would have to work out a licensing agreement and it doesn't really fit any of Hasbro's TF lines. Only if Disney wanted them to sell in there stores and I don't see why they would want to go through the hassle.
