ok u guys know how Disney has this rly stupid rule that shows can only have 52 episodes. well I watched a show that Disney owned called Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go! and after 4 awsome seasons the show got canclled, it wouldn't b that big of a deal cuz it was a small fandom (compared to this one of course) but they canclled it on a cliffhanger. The show was about this 14 yr old boy after wandering through the woods out side his town found an giant abandoned robot. and inside the robot were 5 cyborg monkeys after the boy, Chiro, pulled a lever he got these powers, activated the monkeys and became their leader. together the group fought off the main villain called Skeleton King (i think there were some other bad guys but i can't remember if there were they weren't until season 3). the 4th and final season ended where the team was going to do this huge final battle with their allies at their side. Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! anyways some of those VAs u might recognize as doing a VA to some of ur fave tv shows. Anyways anyone here remember and disney shows that got canclled after when it was still in it's prime?
I didn't watch enough Disney to list any episodes i could remember, but when cartoonetwork started following suit, my faith in cartoons went down hill. It finally hit the bottom once nick joined in on the "cancel the good shows and bring new ones that suck" bus. The ONLY cartoon that airs today that is the ONLY one with any creativity in it is MLP:FIM.
Damn, I remember Super Robot Monkey Team; really good series. Cliffhanger ending or not, it'd be nice if they released it on DVD. Of course, it would be nice if they'd finish up the Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles DVD releases too, but that's not going to happen either.
Disney or not, that show was awesome and it deserved to continue on. I wish they wouldn't have ended American Dragon Jake Long. I thought it was a neat series with some cool ideas and funny jokes.
Becuase after Disney brought Marvel, msot of the Marvel Shows began airing in Disney programs, but then again specular was never disney, but Spectacualr Spider-Man was from the beginning a Kids WB!/The CW4Kids Show, but as i said they simply aired the show in Disney after Disney brought Marvel
That's true, the second season ran on Disney, the first on Kids WB/CW. Spectacular Spider-Man was actually partly produced by Sony. Many suspect that's the reason it was really cancelled, because Disney wanted to make their own Spider-Man cartoon. Around that time, a similar deal was struck for Sony to return the rights to make Spidey cartoons back to Marvel, which is now Disney. Personally I wish Darkwing Duck and Ducktales weren't cancelled. Those shows had some really great stories, especially the Carl Barks ones on Ducktales.
