What do you guys/gals recommend and how often do you do it?

I got O&O Defrag installed cause I read/heard somewhere that it was good. I used it once before to defrag my 2nd HD a few months ago. Defraged it again last night, took a couple hours... and I finally decided to do it on my main HD (O&O said it had a 50% degree of fragmentation), left it overnight and after 13 hours... 1% complete lol

The main HD (NTFS format) isn't even that large, only 60GB... sure there's only 8GB free but still, it went fast (3-5 hours or so) through the 2nd HD (FAT32) which is only 30GB with 10GB free.

It's probably just faster to start all over again lol

Yeah, I usually just use the Windows defragger. I have one as part of Norton Utilities, but it sucks and doesn't really affect anything. I had downloaded a trial version of a program some time ago, and it worked really well, nice and fast, but it ran out or I uninstalled it or something and now can't remember the name of it for the life of me.
