my favorite repaint will always be G1 smokescreen (even though he's technically also a slight remold, I think he counts). I remember him being the #1 figure I wanted for Christmas out of the second wave autobots, and I was thrilled when I got him. I don't even think I thought of him as being the same mold as my Prowl back in the day....he was totally different to me. I was also like 7, which might explain that.

I'm confused. The title suggests you want to know what repaint is our favorite, but your post is more along the lines of which repaint we want to see the most.

But my favorite repaint has to be Botcon Sharkticon (and Sky-Byte if he can be counted here). :D  And I guess the repaint I'd like to see would be a Leader Starscream repaint into any other Seeker.

My favorite repaint... Fort / Grand / Brave Max.

I love the massiveness, the simplicity and the G1 brick-ish charm of this toy.

Seeing them displayed together is an awesome sight to behold.

Sorry for the crappy pics... I used my iPhone.

That's funny cause I want your whole collection! :lol

In due time you'll add one to your already impressive collection and I don't doubt that! :thumb

Another one of my favorite repaints would have to G1 Scorponok and Black Zarak... G1-Junkie can you post pics of those bad boys together?

I think my favorite repaint is a tie between WalMart exclusive Universe Hardhead and Premium Movie 1 Barricade.

There are actually very few repaints out there. My favourite redeco is hands down RID Sky-byte. The original Cybershark is cool enough, but next to Sky-byte they look like two totally different toys. There's not one piece of sculpted detail left unpainted or otherwise unhighligthed in some way. Every servo, every diode, every tube or panel is painted. And not just painted, but painted in just great colours. Primarily deep sea blue with pearl as the secondarry, with plenty on silver (chrome and otherwsie) details and yellow highlights makes it very unified despite the patchwork sculpt. Add to that a few red, blue, and green painted diodes and it's the most stand-out peice of my entire collection. It's also just a great toy, featuring an amazing sculpt, great articulation and proportions. The anchor arm is awesome, and he turns into a cyborg great white.

RiD Sky-byte has the best deco I've ever seen. I still prefer BW Cybrshark just because I love the blue/green used on him but Sky-byte's is just a way better deco.
