You have to be careful with "clearance" items on Amazon. Sometimes (most of the time) the 40-60% clearance is off of an inflated price and you can get better deals from one of our sponsors.
You'll also notice that the original price of these is actually higher than what they were selling for at most other sites - so having 40-60% off really is closer to have about $10 off of "normal" prices.
