I didn't see another campaign thread, so I figured that a new one would be the most appropriate place to post the full text of this directive. As many of us know already, the order was broadcast directly into the cerebral cortex of true disciples of Lord Shockwave by manner of subspace transmission from somewhere in the vicinity of Alpha Centauri. However, followers of less worthy Transformers, gods, et cetera, deserved to be exposed to this text facsimile of the will of our Master.

Can we see an end to these threads please? Surely one to discuss is enough?

Sorry, just can't go with the 2012 shoo-in (DOTM is going to make sure of that).

That's illogical. Grimlock has twice engaged Shockwave in combat withe the Dinobots by his side and barely forced a stalemate. One on one it's not even a fight. :lol

When enough people think this, suddenly he stops being a shoo-in. Remember how Soundwave was a "shoo-in" last year? Cause I do. :p

My honest feeling is that either Grimlock or Waspinator are going to win. It's hard to tell which of the candidates Erector most spoils, as he pulls quirky voters away from Waspinator but he also pulls away the diehard "I CAN'T VOTE FOR ANYTHING POPULAR" crowd from Jazz, Grimlock, and Shockwave. And the 1984-1985 G1er vote is split three ways!

Shockwave's not going to win this by resting on his laurels!

Hasbro inducted Soundwave as well as two other guys who weren't on the ballot last year, an action that no one foresaw.

clearly our ability to predict their actions is infallible

There is also a school of thought that says it's cool when fans recognize a beloved character by just voting for who they like, without trying to get some particular result or trying to figure how who Hasbro "likes" and avoid voting for it. Frankly, it's tiresome to watch people try and figure out how best to be unpredictable. (I'm NOT just picking on Erector here, I don't think voting on the basis of perceived obscurity makes any more sense when used to endorse Waspinator either.)

    No.

Erector FTW. Erector is more logical for HoF. Shockwave can have DotM.

    Ah, now, that's unfair.

After all the grumpiness on the Grimlock thread, I voted for Erector just to be cheery.

Then I read the original post on this thread.

*slow and polite clap to convey a hushed respect*

That... was the best picture i've seen in a while.

I voted for Shockwave. He's more badass than Grinlock can ever be. Until DoTM ruins him.
