    Hi guys,

After taking a break and moved house, I have started a new project. The UM is on hold as I have had a creative spark to do something new and fresh.

Here is a combiner custom I am working on.

This I believe is the first attempt at a Dinoking. Its also my take on the figure after taking inspiration from recent combiners out there.

    Size comparison:

This is early days, and there are many things still needs to be done.

    1) Modify head
    2) Bulk up the chest
    3) Attach wing to right arm
    4) Creation of foot
    5) Modify heads on feet figures
    6) Create its trademark weapon
    7) Complete repaint of the entire figure as the current colours do not match it mildly. These include colours of Green, white, blue, gold

Will update as it progresses :)

I'm sorry but all images must be attached in project threads. Please read the Guidelines/Etiquette page found on the Radicons Info drop-down at the top of the page - Radicons Staff

Just for my curiosity, does anyone have a pic of an actual dinoking? I can't find him through our galleries, or google.

Though, this looks like it will be an interesting combiner.

    I'm a little confused, isn't Dinoking = Dinobot combiner?
These look like Predacons, just curious why you'd use Predacons.

O.k. after seeing the G1 version, yeah I am a little confused with the predacons. Unless you are really heavily modding them. But still looks like a project to follow.

    Thanks for the comments

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments. Yes, this one is quite a challenge. There will be some heavy mods that will occur.

Also, compared to the G1, there are 6 characters. This version will only entail 4 of the 6 with a body base for the combiner.

Frenzy, to your question as to the dinasours, yes, you are right, these are supposed to be dinosours, but the bots in the G1 are not. In the Victory series, Dinoking is a combination of their riders, not the dinosaurs itself.

I am still at the scratch phase.

I have a pic here to help with the resemblence.

It may not look like much at this stage, will update as I progress. Thanks for those interested in following this.

Frenzy, I reckon you have some of the best combiners made in recent times. I would love it if you can give me any pointers you may have.

    Thanks.

Agreed! I believe the Japanese G1 era stuff is very inspirational, and quite due for some updates! Can't wait for Dinoking!:thumbs2:

Yes, Dinoking (Japan) = Monstructor (US) at least bots-wise, not shell-wise.
