Does anyone know enough about the Transformers Victory Dinoforce to know how the KO set called "Biological Chemistry Dinosaur Corps" compares? Is the quality on it mad low? Any drastic color differences? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have the originals but haven't owned any KOs of them. Is it a boxset of all six?

Got the original dinoking set. Seen the KO set on ebay for years. Don't know the quality but lately been asking for a large sum of cash considering it's a KO. Regardless, $200 for a complete KO is better than $500-$800 for the original.

    Is it this?

I think Biological Chemistry Dinosaur Corps was the name on the package. Anyway, it stands about 8 inches tall and is pretty good quality for a KO. It came with all the parts to make Dino King, none of the individual guns except for the large one, none of the shells, and an extra Wildfly figure. From what I understand, that tiny Wildfly is the actual size of the original figures and the combiner is actually oversized. A couple of the parts took some nail polish to tighten up the joints, but other than that I was real happy with the KO.

Dahveed has them for sale for $25 here:
More than Meets the Eye (but less $)

I like toyhell...lots of nice KOs from way back, but be prepared to wait for your stuff.

    No thatmulticolored one isn't it.

I own the Biological Chemistry Dinosaur Corps boxset and it's excellent. It's in storage right now so I can't get to it, but if I recall correctly, there are some differences in the colors of the outer shells of the dinos... otherwise it's pretty close, and the quality is OUTSTANDING. It was my "stand in" for a real Dinoking until I finally got one, and I liked the KO so much I decided to hang onto it as well.

You're still going to pay upwards of $200ish, but it's certainly no Happywell KO.

ams: Do you feel like the shells are better than the originals? As in less slimy or still the same. For a while I was toying with the idea of just picking up the KO shells for fun.

I'll be honest, it's been in storage for nearly five years, so I'm reluctant to try to give a definitive answer, as I just don't recall all that well. However, I don't remember there being any slimy effect to them at all, nor on my original Dinoking... certainly nothing like the weird melty effects you get with the Monstructor shells.

If I can get to these soon, I'll pull them out for some photos.

My understanding is that the KO shell colors are different than the original.
But the quality of the shells and the bots are pretty good.

Be a real collector and get the originals ;)

I am a real collector with the budget of a stay at home dad. I only buy as much as I can afford from selling what I already have.

the shells are the same quality, just some different colors here and there, also there is no difference in quality between the tf version and the KO version. I have had both, and yes the shells all get kinda sticky from just being old. I say if you get the chance, grab the KO version, you 'll save money(alot) and you really cant tell its not an official tf release once you get some repo stickers. good luck. and as far as being a real collector-the ko set is just as real, but by saving all that loot you'll also be a smart collector. also, as long as your happy thats all that counts. now have fun finding one. LOL

It was almost easier when I was a completist with over 1400 figures. Just buy everything! hahahah Since I got engaged I've been selling off, buying back, selling more off, and just trying to figure out the niche I want my collection to fit. I think a complete Victory Collection is where it's at. It'll take forever on my non-salary, but hey, look at my SN. I dig Victory. Had an artist friend (Altitron for those who know his work) draw a custom VictorySabre emblem that I'm eventually going to bring to a tatoo parlor

I hear you there. Victory is where it's AT! I picked up all the exclusive molds and SCF Victory Saber this year, adding them to my Robotmasters, Micros and reissue Landcross.

I don't want the mega Pretender repaints though. :lol
