Godzilla wins, no contest. However, if they cooperate, plan things out (if they rush in it's over), and have just a little luck on their side, they could pull it off. If it's the american version, the dinobots could win fairly easily. I imagine it would be like the animated autobots taking on a decepticon (toward the begining when it took all of them to take down one or two, at the end they become much better at it).
Even Zilla could mop the floor with the Dinobots. He has atomic and flame breath too... Against Godzilla, the fight would be faster than Godzilla's fight against Zilla (Which was 33 seconds long).
Godzilla no question, unless it was the American Godzilla, in that case the Dinobots. But overall, Godzilla wins. "We need Mechagodzilla power NOW!" Now I kinda want to see Mechagodzilla transform in a Power Rangers/Super Sentai like fashion.
I have an idea! Godzilla vs. Tidal Wave (the huge one from the armada ps2 game). Keep in mind that godzilla is said to be about 600 feet while Tidal Wave is said to be about 900 feet (at least that's what I remember).
Big G will lay a serious smackdown on the Dinobots. I do not see Grimlock giving up, however. His ego and ferocity would demand that he keep on jumping back into the fray until he's offlined. My face when: "It's... it's beautiful."

The animated Zilla does, yes. The one in the movie just happened to roar into explosions and it looked like he was breathing fire. Why not just have the creature breathe fire?

I wish that were the case. In one instance his breath somehow causes the sewer gas coming out of a manhole to ignite. In the other instance his roar causes two cars to come off the ground, crash into each other and then explode. Even in the Godzilla Dreamcast game Zilla's breath weapon was just wind. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the cartoon and Zilla's spines glowed and he actually fired out atomic breath.
He had a breath weapon that was fire or atomic or something in the Animated Series tie-in to the 1995 movie though. Or rather, THAT Zillah (Zillah Jr. I guess) did.
Pretty good fight. I think in the end, Godzilla would win. EDIT: Unless by Dinobots, you would include all of the creations from this Dinobot Scythe's thread: More Dinobots? If that's the case, ... Godzilla would lose horribly.
