I wish one of these 3rd party companies or even hastak for that matter would just take the idea of this custom that frenzyrumble created, and start making a version for retail. http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/transtopia-masterclass-dinobots-combiner-extinction/19249/
I'm not digging on it more because it clearly follows the school of "Build some connectors and an entire pile of crap that forms about half the final combined mode in order to make it work" school of custom combiners.
The one thing I'll give this bot is the facial sculpt. It screams great combiner head. Everytime I look at it and I think "This is just an amazing face that carries this figure".
it looks cool but as some of the others have mentioned why combine the dino's it kinda makes some of the limbs strange. But besides that I think this is one amazingly done bot and the fact how wheelie is the head is just even more cool.
I remember it was a custom by Frenzy_Rumble, Someone felt like throwing money at him and this is what happened lol.
If 3rd party companies are going to release Dinobots based on a custom, I'd much rather see them strike a deal with someone like Sculptbot to release his Dinobots.
TFC's dinobot combiner would be your best bet. I'm pretty sure they'll be released with G1 colors somewhere down the line. Personally I think that custom looks awesome, except for the arms which don't look like they need their dinosaur at all.
I through the money at him and it’s still one of the most amazing piece’s I own. It was my childhood fantasy to have the Dinobots combine and now mine do.
So no one caught that Fab is an iGear info guy and iGear has Dinobots on deck? Sounds like the iGear designs are pretty impressive. And I agree with Fab. As much as I wanted to see them combine as a kid it never happened and now I no longer want to see it happen. Dinobots do not combine.
Haha. I am more than just the "iGear guy" I make jokes too. read the bio http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/312280-dinobots-merge-form-extinction-6-6-a.html
