Well, to start off, I gotta say this was one of the most challenging projects I've embarked upon to date.

This is my first (of many) collaborations with another artist. I was lucky enough to have JAF (of sector70) add incredible articulation to *good* condition Dinobots I picked up across the boards and on ebay.

You'll find larger and more images of these guys, including group shots later this week on my website (click my banner)

The golden color was a challenge to hit, but I am happy with the overall palette. I created duplicate sets of the stickers on illustrator and created water slide decals, which you can see throughout the custom(s)

Thanks to JAF and the fan who commissioned the project. Definitely gonna revisit this project one day and take it to the ultimate level be having them combine ;)

Anyway, Here's Grimlock! (this is gallery 1 of 5)

I like it a lot. Although I have to say that I'm partial to the chrome and metallic look of the original toy. Doesn't make this a bad custom though.

This whole set makes me almost say the Hell with MP Grimlock and save that towards a commission of these. Just barely thou.:lol

I'd have to say the is by far my fav of yours F_R. And you hit the yellow dead on. The only thing that would have been closer is gold leafing it like you did your MP. Where's that damn clapping emot-icon when you need it?

I'm a little sad to see the transparent neck go, as that detailing is what struck me about these toys originaly. But he looks so very well with it painted too, you've brought up so much detail. JAF's work is amazing as well, he's freed up an awesome mould.

It looks like this Grimlock has quite a gap at his stomach region ? Wasn't it possible to cover that somehow ?
