Really starting to get into the whole IDW side of Transformers and looking to start reading IDW's Generation 1. I would like to be able to find them in digital format to be able to download them and read them off my laptop or tablet

Does anyone know if and where they are available? Any help is appreciated!

One more thing, if anyone has a list of the order I should begin that will also help!!

    I believe it goes like this;

    The Transformers: Infiltration
    Stormbringer
    Escalation
    Megatron Origin
    Devastation
    Revelation
    All Hail Megatron
    Maximum Dinobots
    Last Stand of the Wreckers
    Bumblebee
    Ironhide
    Drift
    Infestation
    Heart of Darkness
Space Opera Part 1: The Stars My Destination
Space Opera Act 2: Out of the Silent Planet
Space Opera—Final Tableaux: Orphans of the Helix
    Chaos Theory Part 1
    Chaos Theory Part 2

I don't know if I am missing any in the list and if The Transformers: Infiltration is truely the first one I should read. Thank in advance for all your help!

I'm not aware that IDW offers them digitally, but I would check their website. I just sigend up for Marvel's digital service for $9.99 a month and it is definitely worth it to read all these old marvel comics. If IDW offered something similar, some sort of flat rate subscription service, I'd definitely be all about it. I don't have time to look into it at the moment, but if you do and you find something, share it here.

They're available in Comixology online and in the Android app. You can read them in the iOS app, but for some reason they can't be purchased there. For iOS I use the Transformers Comics app from IDW.

Google books and Kindle also have some, but they're missing a lot of the newer stuff for some reason. New issues are released about a month after they hit the stands.

If you have an apple, IDW has a comic app that's excellent. I have it on the iPhone, but that's a little small really. An iPAD would rule though, you could read the whole G1 Marvel series.

This is the order I usually put them in. Chronologically Megatron Origin happens first and you can't leave the "Spotlights" out of the "-tion" series'. Maximum Dinobots and Drift both happen before AHM but Drift is an undetermined amount of time and it makes more sense if read after AHM IMO. Make sure to read the "Mosaic" follow ups to AHM or you'll be scratching your head over some pretty wide plot holes. Bumblebee is hard to pin down, it seems to happen concurrently with the first 6 issues of ongoing. Ironhide happens sometime after issue 1 of ongoing so I just kinda stick it in between ongoing arcs. Heart of Darkness is before Infestation.

Erm, "Mosaic" is not the official name of any IDW-produced comics. Mosaics are fan-made one-page comics, some of which got published in IDW's comics, but there's never been a fully-fledged compilation of them, and they're not in canon either (except for "Dead Men's Boots", which is included in the LSOTW trade).
