I really want to get a digital camera within the next couple months. What are some good cameras for $200 or less? I was looking at a Nikkon L3, but it didnt't have too many features.

Dude, my wife is a Photo lab manager at Wal-Mart. I'll ask her in the morning and let you know what she says.

I've bought Canon A-series cameras from day one, and they're great when it comes to quality photos. (Use rechargable AA batteries when you can, alkalines when you can't.) They're easy-to-use but still have more optional advanced features than you're likely to ever want if you're not a pro.

You can't buy a new Canon digital for $200, but last year's discontinued models are generally around that price or lower. Check Target or Best Buy near you to see what they've got.

My friend was just telling me moments ago about how he likes the Canon A-Series. I'm going to check them out. He got his for $250. I can deal with that.

I have a Nikon now, but Canon is just as great... you can't go wrong with either IMO
