A couple of days ago, I was flipping through random pics of the movie toys, when my eye came on Payload. I noticed he looked a bit like a certain Animated Autobot, and now I've actually done a digibash of it. Not happy with the midsection and there's no way anyone could kitbash this with that head (biiiit to big me thinks), but it still works, oddly enough.

That's a pretty clever idea. Only thing that really throws the homage off is the hands, I think. Wonder how feasible it'd be to do those claws on him?

Digibash wise it would be easy, I'd just need the right set of hands. Actually kitbash wise...I dunno, I didn't want to steer to far away from the original toy, the head was an exception because I had no other alternative.

Thats a clever idea actually :)

Btw, there´s a downsized Crumplezone KO outhere, but im not sure if the head is small enough...

I was gonna say I thought there was a smaller Crumplezone knockoff. :D
I like this idea, I'm doin' a Soundwave/Laserbeak with mine. Crumplezone's head works surprisingly well on a movie toy!! As for the claw hands, I say where there's a will there's a way!! Now get to it!!:thumb

i'm pretty sure crumplezone's head would be too big for that body, but it's a great concept

Seriousley, there is? That would be great for my Computron idea. Hmmm...I might have to go back to that and possibly do some more planning for the other four Technobots (instead of just doing Scattershot, which is my current plan).

On-topic. A very good idea. Would be interesting if you could incorperate his big claw-fingers, but it looks good as-is.
