    Animated.

    Flying. V. Laserbeak.

    Accept nothing less.

Unless you also need an MP3 player, I guess.

biggest difference? about 40 bucks. :D

If you've got the scratch the "classics" music label is pretty unbeatable, especially with reprolabels. Reissue for nostalgia or Animated for a fun reimagining. you pick.

if you can afford it and want a Soundwave that's pretty close to the orignal but wiht articualtion, go with Music Label. If you want cheap but cartoon acurate (either Animated or Cybertron) go with those versions

most definitely he sux, however, for a completely different mold and figure itself, yet still holding original qualities, i think they succeeded....kinda :)

Here is my opinion on the Encore:

    AWESOOOOOME.

Definitely one of the G1 toys that still kinda holds up nowadays. Looks very good!

I say music label. He looks great and fits in well with the classics/universe line. Just don't buy him for his mp3 functions (you would be disappointed).

I really love my TRU reissue. I prefer the blockiness/bulkiness as compared to the music label one.

If you want Soundwave and his minions, then get the Encore or TRU version. Better yet, wait for the SDCC version coming out, as it'll net you 4 cassettes.

If you want a cool looking and very poseable Soundwave with limited MP3 functionality, then get the Music Label version. He's not too expensive now and you can easily get him for $50 shipped on ebay.
